Tickets available online until 1pm and in Ticket office until kick off
The Amber Army are set to welcome the U’s back to Football League action against Newport County at the Abbey Stadium this afternoon in their droves, with tickets available online now or in the ticket office up to kick off.
Richard Money’s men begin their 2015/16 Sky Bet League Two campaign on home soil with over 4,000 tickets sold in advance of the fixture, which includes a Newmarket Road End positively packed to the rafters.
A host of new faces that have joined United over the summer and on course to make their Football League debuts for the club against the Exiles, including Barry Corr, Leon Legge and new captain Mark Roberts making it a game not to be missed!
Tickets are available to purchase online until 1pm today, whilst supporters walking up to the fixture must purchase their match day ticket from the ticket office prior to kick off.
Mick George Ltd, shirt sponsors to the club, are equally excited ahead of the first match and looking to make the occasion a truly memorable one. The Company like United have also been busy in the close season, working hard to add further value to the current match day entertainment offering to the club’s fantastic supporters both young and old.
The fixture will see the launch of the new look ‘Skip challenge’, where Mick George Ltd. Alongside Premier Travel are providing four lucky Cambridge United supporters the opportunity to win a free season ticket for the 2015/2016 season.
The Mick George Cheerleaders will also be in attendance and will be performing a new routine pre-match and at half time. Whilst Mick George Ltd will also be giving away FREE limited edition T Shirts to supporters which contain the club and sponsor logo, plus a complete list of fixtures for the 2015/16 season.
To receive your free T Shirt, track down one of the Cheerleaders around the stadium and have a ‘selfie’ with them before the game, with the first 50 supporters to purchase an away shirt on the day from the club shop ahead of Tuesday’s first away trip Rotherham will also be guaranteed one.
