Goalkeeper pens two-year deal with the U's
CAMBRIDGE United have signed Chris Dunn on a two-year deal.
The 6'5" goalkeeper has joined the U's after spending last season with Yeovil Town in the Sky Bet Championship.
Dunn, 26, started his career at Northampton Town, coming through the ranks to become the Cobblers' number one for the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons.
In June 2011, Chris signed a three-year deal with Coventry City. After making three appearances in two seasons for the Sky Blues, Dunn joined Yeovil Town on a one-year contract in August 2013 and went on to make eight Championship appearances for The Glovers.
Speaking exclusively to cambridge-united.co.uk, the new U's number one said: "Even though I had offers on the table from other clubs, I met Jez (George, Director of Football) and the gaffer (Richard Money, Head Coach) and the way they sold me the club made the decision a no brainer. I can't wait for the season to start and I'm really looking forward to being part of such a young and ambitious squad"
U's Director of Football, Jez George said: "We are delighted to have signed a goalkeeper of Chris's calibre. He has all the attributes and qualities that we were looking for and the fact that he is willing to commit himself to the club for two years is testament to his belief that he can achieve his ambitions with Cambridge United."
