CAMBRIDGE United have signed Issaga Diallo on a one-year contract, subject to international clearance

27-year-old Issa arrives after spending the second half of last season with Hungarian side Kaposv├íri RFC.

The Senegalise midfielder started his career at Saint-Louis Neuweg in France before joining Swiss side FC Locarno in 2009.

In 2011 Issa joined Servette in the Swiss Super League, spending two seasons at the club before heading to Hungary.

U's Director of Football, Jez George, said: "Issa has been with us for a couple of weeks and played against Braintree, MK Dons and Sutton. He has really impressed Richard and is a player that we feel could really add to our squad for the coming season.  Things have been a little protracted as we have been dealing with Issa's representatives in France, but we are delighted to have completed the deal."

Issa has been handed squad number 20 and will be involved in tonight's game against Tottenham, however his participation in league and cup fixtures will be subject to international clearance.
