Jayden Stockley joins the U's on loan
CAMBRIDGE United have signed Jayden Stockley on loan until January 2015.
The 20-year-old striker joins the U's from AFC Bournemouth, where he began his career as an academy player.
6'2" Stockley made his Cherries debut at the age of 15, coming on as a substitute against Northampton Town in the Football League Trophy. Jayden went on to sign a five-year deal with Bournemouth in November 2009.
After a month on loan at Dorchester in January 2011, Jayden returned to Bournemouth before heading to Accrington Stanley on loan in November, scoring three goals in ten appearances for Stanley.
The 2012/13 season saw Stockley join Woking on an initial one-month loan. This deal was extended until the end of the season, with Jayden scoring 13 times in 29 appearances for the Cards.
During the 2013/14 season, Jayden had a loan spell with Leyton Orient before joining Torquay United for the remainder of the season.
Jayden has been handed squad number 23 and will be available for selection when the U's take on Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two tomorrow afternoon.
