Our girls only camps are open to female players aged 7-16 of any ability who wish to develop their football skills and knowledge in a fun and safe environment.

These camps take place every half-term and school holiday period at two venues in Cambridgeshire and offer a wide range of fun footballing activities including tournaments, skills zones and much more. There are also awards and prizes up for grabs for player of the day and player of the week, and occasionally surprise visits from CUFC Men's and Women's first-team players!

GIRLS CAMPS FAQ's

What do Girls Camp sessions involve?

There isn't a set structure for the girls camps, however a typical camp day looks something like the following:

9am to 9:15am – Sign ins and Arrival activities

9:15am to 9:30am – Ball mastery activity

9:30am to 10:30am – Warm up activities and Fun skill based games

10:30am to 11:30am: 1v1/2v2 Games or Skills Centres

11:30am to 12:30pm: Bigger Game Formats with Fun Tasks or Conditions (5v5 or 6v6)

12:30pm to 1:00pm: Lunch Break

1:00pm to 1:30pm: Daily Workshop Activities Like Quizzes or Teamwork Games

1:30pm to 4:00pm: Tournament Time

Where Do Girls Camps Take Place?

Girls Camps currently take place in two locations across Cambridgeshire:

  • Comberton Village College (West Street, Comberton, Cambridge CB23 7DU)
  • Swavesey Village College (Gibraltar Lane, Swavesey, Cambridge CB24 4RS)

What do I need to bring with me?

Below is a list of clothing, accessories and other items we suggest each participant should bring with them:

  • Comfortable sporting attire (t-shirt, shorts/trackpants, socks, jumpers)
  • Trainers for indoor use and football boots for outdoor 3G pitch use
  • Football shinpads (you will not be able to participate without shinpads)
  • Water bottle and plenty of fluids (refillable water bottle is preferable)
  • Food for lunch and snack breaks (no peanut products)
  • Hat or cap for sunny weather
  • Waterproof jacket and/or big warm jacket for colder weather
  • Spare clothing
  • Goalie gloves (if you want to be in goal)
  • Sun cream for hot weather and to be reapplied during the day
  • Any medication (e.g. inhaler, EpiPen) - please make coaches aware ahead of the camp starting
