Mark your calendars for Friday 15 March to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Varsity fixture, as the Cledara Abbey Stadium hosts the University of Cambridge vs University of Oxford in a double header of Women and Men’s fixtures.
The Friday night event kicks off at 5pm for the Women's game before the Men's game gets underway at 7:45pm. Tickets are available now.
Beyond the competition on the field, the Varsity Fixture is an opportunity for the communities of Cambridge and Oxford to come together and celebrate their institutions. Local businesses, alumni, and students will unite to witness the historic clash.
Shaun Grady, Chair of Cambridge United Board said, "We are very pleased that we are able to host both the Women’s and Men’s Varsity matches on March 15 at the Abbey and are sure that both games will attract a good crowd.
"It marks a positive first step in the strategic partnership announced between the Club and University earlier this autumn and there are a number of other initiatives that we are actively discussing at the moment where we can work together positively over the course of this season."

"While I am sure there will be many other joint activities to look forward to as part of this partnership, playing both the Women’s and Men’s matches on a Friday night will be a great occasion and we hope the community will come and support the teams.”
