Supporter Behaviour update

4 January 2023

Cambridge United would like to remind supporters of their responsibility to behave in-line with the Stadium’s Ground Regulations...

The Club have been disappointed with the behaviour of some supporters within the Newmarket Road End over the past few games, which includes damage to advertising boards and objects being thrown onto the field of play.

Such behaviour will not be tolerated and threatens to damage the strong family-focused reputation of the Club.

The FA have issued warnings to the Club over these incidents and a continuation of poor behaviour is likely to result in fines being issued, a reduction in stand capacities and additional items being prohibited from the stadium.

Supporters are reminded that the following items are prohibited from the Abbey Stadium and that increased search regimes are expected for future fixtures.

Safety at the Abbey Stadium remains a key priority on a Matchday and should you witness anti-social or discriminatory behaviour, please speak to a steward, report it via the Club's anonymous reporting textline - 075224 73291 - or through our online Report an Incident page.
