Cambridge United are hiring a part-time Academy Therapist...
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Physio/Sports Therapist/GSR and will report directly to the Head of Medical Services and Lead Academy Physio. They will be responsible for the provision and delivery of Sports Therapy/Physiotherapy to the Academy schoolboy programme for ages 9-16.
This will involve covering training evenings and also the occasional weekend fixture, specifically as follows:
- Monday- 17:20 -18:50
- Tuesday- 16:30 - 18:00
- Thursday- 17:20 -18:50
- 2-3 Saturdays a month (approx 9:00-14:00)
The Academy Therapist will be responsible for pitch side cover, as well as the assessment and treatment of injuries as required. They will also be responsible for liaising with the Lead Academy Physio, Head of Coaching and relevant age group coaches providing updates on injured players.
