23 June 2022

Cambridge United's 2022/23 Sky Bet League One fixtures have been released...

Mark Bonner's men will begin the season on Sat 30th July at home to MK Dons before travelling to Oxford United the following week.

Away games against Portsmouth, Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town and home games against Exeter City, Burton Albion and Lincoln City make up the remainder of the first eight fixtures of the season.

The month of October will see United host Derby County (Sat 1st October) and Sheffield Wednesday (Sat 15th October) whilst the first Cambridgeshire Derby in the league for more than 20 years will take place on Sat 29th October at London Road.

The festive fixtures will see the U's travel to Fleetwood Town on Sat 17th December before hosting Shrewsbury Town on Boxing Day.

Back-to-back away games will take United into the New Year, with trips to Derby County on Thurs 29th December and Sheffield Wednesday on Sun 1st January.

Supporters will have to wait until Sat 15th April before Peterborough come to town in what will be one of the most highly anticipated fixtures at the Abbey Stadium for many years.

The final four see the U's host Wycombe Wanderers ahead of long trips to Plymouth Argyle and Accrington Stanley, before seeing the season out at home to newly-promoted Forest Green Rovers.
