TICKET INFORMATION CONFIRMED FOR CARLISLE UNITED TEST EVENT THIS SATURDAY

Cambridge United host Carlisle United in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday 12th September, 3pm kick-off, with ticket details now confirmed for the pilot fixture.

The Club, alongside our ticketing provider VMS, have been working extremely hard over the last few months to ensure supporters can return safely and efficiently to the Abbey. Last month, when placing an additional 1,000 season tickets on sale, the Club communicated details of a two stage process for season ticket holders to secure tickets which would ensure they could confirm their attendance on a match by match basis during a priority window.

However, since then Cambridge United’s ticket office have continued to work tirelessly and have created a far simpler solution than the two stage process, which we are confident is more efficient for both 2020/21 season ticket holders and the Club itself from an administrative point of view.

Therefore, ahead of Saturday’s pilot fixture, we have concluded the following season ticket holder arrangements.  We believe this will be the most practical and sensible way of ensuring all our season ticket holders can secure their tickets and entry into the ground.

IMPORTANT SEASON TICKET HOLDER INFORMATION

Terrace Season Ticket Holders

All STH’s in the terraced areas (Newmarket Road End, North & South Habbin) should enter the ground using their 20/21 Season Cards, via the turnstiles detailed on their cards (The usual turnstiles for these areas).  The terraced areas have had capacities significantly reduced to enable adequate social distancing measures to be observed.

*Season Cards are not transferrable to fellow supporters unless you have written confirmation from the Football Club.

Seated Season Ticket Holders

All seated STH’s in the Main Stand and Mead Plant & Grab Stand will be automatically allocated socially distanced match ticket(s) for this fixture.  Tickets will be issued in the bubbles that they were purchased in and by date of purchase.  This means Main Stand STH’s will, more than likely, be allocated seats in the original block they booked in, however we cannot absolutely guarantee this.

Seated STH’s will therefore be emailed their match tickets for this fixture in the form of an e-ticket on WEDNESDAY 9th September.  The e-ticket(s) will be sent to the lead booker.  For example, if a supporter purchased three Season Tickets for different members of their family, the person who purchased the tickets will be sent the e-tickets.

Supporters will then be required to scan their e-tickets on entry to the stadium. To be clear, for this to be effective and to ensure seated STH’s receive their e-tickets, they must ensure that the email addresses held in line with their ticket office account, are accurate and up to date. If you believe that the email address held by Cambridge United’s Ticket Office may be inaccurate, then please contact info@cambridge-united.co.uk , call 01223 566 500 or direct message the ticket office twitter @cufc_to

iFollow Match Passes

Season Ticket Holders will be able to claim their free match pass if they know that they cannot attending this Saturday’s fixture.  If STH’s are not attending the fixture, they are required to inform the club via email (info@cambridge-united.co.uk) by 3pm on Wednesday 9th September, to enable them to receive their iFollow free match pass and confirm the cancellation of their match/season ticket for this fixture. If the club are not notified by this time, a free iFollow match pass will not be issued.

Free iFollow match passes will be sent out, via email, by midday on Thursday 10th September.

SO IN SUMMARY AND FOR ABSOLUTE CLARITY…

Season Ticket Holders who wish to attend, no longer have to confirm their attendance for Saturday’s fixture with Carlisle United, in contrast to what was previously communicated during the two stage process. STH’s in terraces can simply show up with their season cards and gain entry. STH’s in seated stands will receive an e-ticket for the fixture via email on Wednesday.

If you are not planning to attend Saturday, please email info@cambridge-united.co.uk and we will provide you an access code to watch the game free on ifollow in exchange for your e-ticket, which the Club will then be able to sell to a non-season ticket holder.
