Never has your support for the Football Club been so important, as Cambridge United place 2020/21 season tickets on sale online at cufcdirect.com for an initial two week window until Thursday 16th April.
Earlier this week, Cambridge United CEO Ian Mather confirmed the Football Club would respond to the wave of support from fans, who have stated they would be willing to back the Club financially by securing their season ticket now. This would provide a significant financial boost to help the Club as it continues to steer a way through the upcoming months.
We understand not every supporter will be able to do this during the current climate and we will re-open the opportunity to buy 2020/21 season tickets once the overall picture of next season is clearer. However, the Club are opening up this opportunity to simply allow supporters who have stated they are willing to show their financial support now.
2020/21 SEASON TICKET AND MATCH TICKET PRICES
- Price Freeze on full season ticket prices for 5th consecutive season
- Removal of Early Bird phase as a result of COVID-19
- Make a greater saving across course of the season with a season ticket
- Terraced match ticket prices frozen - Slight increase in match by match tickets in Main Stand
- Junior U's £10 Annual Membership to continue - Includes 23 Free Home matches
In light of the global outbreak of Coronavirus, the Club have also been forced to amend the pricing structure for both season tickets and match tickets for the 2020/21 season.
Firstly, the Club is putting a freeze on the full price of season tickets for a 5th consecutive season. However, due to the change in the timing of when Cambridge United are able to sell season tickets and the effect this has on cash flow, there will no longer be an early bird phase.
Supporters who secure their season ticket in the Main Stand will however make a greater saving on the sum of match tickets across the course of the season, with a £2 increase on adult and concession match by match tickets in Main Stand Blocks B, C, D E, F and AC 1 & 2. Match tickets prices in the Newmarket Road End and Habbin Stand have been frozen.
The Football Club will also be continuing the popular and iconic Junior U's annual membership for U12s. This allows junior supporters the opportunity to attend all 23 home league matches at the Abbey for free next season when they secure the £10 annual membership, which will also include exclusive Junior U's events.
We hope our supporters, who we are sincerely grateful to for their unwavering support in messages across social media and in correspondence with the Club, recognise these changes have been made for sole reason of ensuring Cambridge United in its current format can do all we can to tackle the impact of coronavirus.
