Mick George Ltd and Premier Food raising the stakes for U’s promotion push


Cambridge United FC host Plymouth FC this Saturday 30th April at the Abbey Stadium in the season’s last home fixture. It is set to be a nail biting conclusion to the season for the supporters with the club mounting a late promotion push, trying to secure the final play-off position.

Mick George Ltd and Premier Food, official sponsors to the club, are particularly excited ahead of the clash, and are doing all they can to make the occasion a memorable one, encouraging all U’s fans to get behind their team. 

A special day is planned with numerous entertainment provisions on offer for both young and old. ‘Mick the Skip’ mascot, a familiar face at all home fixtures will be present, as will the half time ‘Skip Challenge’ which now has a prize fund of a spectacular £1100. The Mick George Cheerleaders will be in attendance and will be performing a new routine pre-match and at half time, as well as touring the stadium giving away FREE limited edition T Shirts and footballs featuring the club and sponsors logo.
