FUTSAL OPPORTUNITIES WITH CAMBRIDGE UNITED

Check out the host of opportunities coming up over the next two months that our Community Football Programme has to offer for 12-16 year olds of all abilities to try out one of the world’s fastest growing indoor sports, Futsal!

FUTSAL DEVELOPMENT CENTRES

Two brand new Futsal Development Centre venues at Sawston and Bottisham will kick off on Tuesday 1st December between 5pm and 6pm . The new weekly sessions are in addition to the second ten week block of Development Centres taking place at Comberton Village College, which recommences on Wednesday 2nd December between 5pm – 7pm.

This course is a fun opportunity for children between the ages of 12-16 to gain an experience of Futsal, delivered by Cambridge United’s Youth Development coaches and coaching with former Cambridge United and Manchester United star Luke Chadwick. Players will develop through weekly training, which will enhance their technical, physical & tactical development. This will provide players with the opportunities to progress into the Cambridge United system.

Those interested in the Futsal Development Centres can book a place for the full ten week block for just £60, by clicking here or call 01223 566 500 (option 4) for more information.

FUTSAL WORLD CUP

Take part in an exciting competitive Futsal Tournament on Saturday 19th December at Cambridge University Sports Centre.

The Futsal World Cup is the perfect chance for those participating in the Development Centres to put their Futsal skills into practice, whilst all children aged between 12 and 16 are welcome to compete. For just £25, children can secure a place in the competition as well as TWO TICKETS (one child and one adult) to the U’s Sky Bet League Two clash against Mansfield Town later that day.
