Shaun Grady
Chairman of the Board
Shaun Grady, Vice President of Business Development Operations at Cambridge-based pharmaceutical giants AstraZeneca, accepted an invitation to join Cambridge United's Board of Directors in December 2016.
AstraZeneca have been collaborating with Cambridge United Community Trust since November 2015, with the multinational biopharmaceutical company supporting the 'Active Science' programme that aims to increase primary school children's enthusiasm for science. Shaun's appointment brings additional experience to the Board and is another step in the strengthening relationship between the Club and AstraZeneca.
Eddie Clark
Director
A life-long supporter and Club partner, Eddie Clark joined the United Board in May 2012. Eddie was soon elected to the role of vice-chairman in January 2013.
Eddie's proven business acumen will complement the expertise of the current Board. Along with his wife Ruth, Eddie runs a family haulage business in Haddenham and regularly sponsors matches, supports the players' away travel and several members of his extended family are involved with matchday roles at the Club.
Graham Daniels
Director
Graham joined the board in June 2013 in his capacity as Chair of the Cambridge United Youth and Community Trust.
Graham initially joined Cambridge United as a player in the early 1980s, moving from Cardiff City in his native Wales. He subsequently played for, and managed, Cambridge City and Histon and has been very involved in Cambridgeshire and East Anglian football management for many years.
Since 2002, Graham has been the General Director of Christians in Sport and he has a PhD in the study of identity formation in Christian professional footballers.
On his appointment to the United Board, he said, 'It's an honour to join the leadership team of this marvellous club. I will try to play my part in making the city of Cambridge proud of our football club both in the way it performs on the pitch and in the impact it makes on our wider community.'
Renford Sargent
Director
A U's fan for over 50 years, Renford brings a wealth of commercial experience to the board from his role as chairman for the Premier Travel Group; an International Travel Company that employs over 200 people in the Cambridge area.
He has been active in the Cambridge area for a long time, and has been a Holidays and Travel presenter for BBC Radio Cambridge for nearly 20 years. Renford is also a keen golfer, and has been a member at Gog Magog Golf Club for 35 years.
Renford said: "People and their cultures are my greatest interest so to travel the world for a living and support the U's has given me a fortunate life.
"I found that most would rather talk football than hotel contracts and it's no surprise that there are now U's fans in some of the worlds more remote places!"

Professor Loch took office on 1 September 2011, having previously held the position of GlaxoSmithKline Chaired Professor of Corporate Innovation and Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD, where he also served as Dean of the INSEAD PhD programme from 2006-2009.

Prior to her appointment on the Board, Jenny has been a Trustee of the Cambridge United Community Trust since 2016 and, during her previous role at AstraZeneca, was instrumental in setting up the Trust’s Active Science programme that aims to increase primary school children’s enthusiasm for science through sport. Jenny was also one of ten women with Board-level potential to take part in the FA’s inaugural Women’s Leadership Programme run out of Wembley Stadium, which aims to increase the number of women in leadership roles, in football generally, and particularly in the Boardroom.
