Cambridge United looks forward to welcoming Port Vale's travelling supporters to the Abbey Stadium, who will be housed in the South Stand for Saturday’s game. Tickets are available for away fans from the Ticket Office ahead of kick-off.

Junior U's Takeover...

This weekend's game is the first ever Junior U's Takeover as five lucky young supporters take on Matchday roles at the Abbey Stadium.

Six-year-old Teddy Allen is our Junior Manager, who after taking part in a pre-match press conference on Thursday will be meeting Mark Bonner and the rest of his staff ahead of kick-off, before watching the warm-ups from the dug-out.

George Haslam, aged 12, will be our Junior Safety Officer and will spend the day with the Safety team, receiving fascinating insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes on a Matchday.

Joining the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire commentary team will be 11-year-old Isaac Edwards, taking on the role of Junior Commentator. He will spend the afternoon alongside Peter Swan, Doug Shulman and Mark Johnson to deliver live radio updates across the region.

Also in the press-box will be Harrison Carter, aged 12, who will be helping out the media team with their minute-by-minute Tweets as Junior Media Officer.

Finally, brother and sister combo, Georgia (Eight-years-old) and Hayden Marshall (12-years-old) will receive VIP treatment as Junior Directors, where they will eat lunch in the Boardroom before watching the game from the best seats in the house.

Rainbow Laces...

Cambridge United are showing their support for Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign this Saturday as our corner flags, captain armbands and substitute boards are given a splash of colour to show solidarity with LGBTQ+ fans.

Food and Drink…

Chicken or Vegetable Curry, Pie and Mash and pastries from Piglets Pantry have recently been added to the menu at food outlets around the ground.

Following supporter feedback, the Club has made a number of changes to its food and drinks offering, whilst all the usual favourites such as Gourmet Burgers, Hot Dogs and Nachos will still be available.

As with the majority of fixtures this season, only supporters with a Signature Suite Hospitality ticket can use the Dion Dublin Bar.

All food and drink outlets will open in conjunction with the turnstiles at 1:30pm and supporters should please be reminded that the Abbey Stadium is a cashless venue.

£4 pints before 2pm...

All pints of Amstel, Wild Wave and Ghost Ship are on offer for just £4 from 1:30pm until 2pm in all outside bars. The move comes following feedback from supporters with a number of improvements to the Club's food and drink offering announced.

Get to the ground early and take advantage of these reduced prices from around the Abbey Stadium's various food and drink kiosks behind the Main Stand and Habbin Stand.

Travel…

There is no on-site car parking available at the Abbey Stadium and supporters are advised to use alternative modes of transport or the Cambridge Matchday Park & Ride service.

Home and away supporters can take advantage of the Cambridge Park & Ride, with a Matchday return ticket priced at £2.50 from Newmarket Road Park & Ride, CB5 8AA.

The ticket is valid for one passenger only. However, if travelling with children, the normal £3 Park & Ride ticket is also available to purchase, allowing children under the age of 16 to travel free with one fee-paying adult. Click here for more information on the Park & Ride service.

For supporters who have difficult accessing public transport, the Club has partnered with Dial a Ride to offer home-to-stadium transport. For more information, please click here.

If you require disabled parking, please call the Club on 01223 566500.

Alternatively, supporters can cycle or scoot to the game. The Abbey Stadium is home to both bicycle and Voi scooter racks, allowing fans to park their ride safely whilst at the ground. Make the most of the Club's new partnership with Voi, the UK and Europe's leading micromobility operator, by taking advantage of the following discount codes:

CAMUNITED - 1 x 15min free for all New Users

CAMUNITED_VOI - 3 x 20% off a ride existing users

To redeem the codes, download the Voi app on your Android or iPhone device, open the in-app wallet and click on ‘Redeem a Voucher’ to enter the releveant code. Both codes are only valid in Cambridge and must be redeemed by the end of regular season on 6 May 2023.

If driving to the ground, supporters are reminded not to park on the drives or grass verges of local residents. This reminder comes following reports in recent weeks of supporters parking at Cambridge Dialysis Centre on Ditton Road, which has meant that patients have been unable to attend treatment appointments. We kindly ask that this site is not used for matchday parking.

Please be considerate if parking on local streets and always follow local guidance and parking laws.

Supporter Behaviour...

Cambridge United would like to remind its supporters of new tougher measures and stronger sanctions relating to anti-social and criminal behaviours at football grounds across the country.

The FA, Premier League and EFL have introduced a new set of actions, which will be implemented across all English football leagues this season and are backed by the Football Supporters’ Association.

The new measures target activity such as entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics and throwing objects - as well as drug use and discriminatory behaviour.

These acts are dangerous, illegal and have severe consequences. They have no place in football, or anywhere. Click here for more information.
