Cambridge United's Regional Goalkeeping Centre is on the lookout for a Casual Coach to join the team...

This exciting opportunity is a casual coaching role, working evenings within our Regional Goalkeeping Centre (RGC) programme at Cambridge United Football Club. It is well suited to those with goalkeeper-specific coaching or playing experience within a football environment. There is also an opportunity to coach within our female goalkeeping programme pathway.

Roles & Responsibilities

To coach talented young goalkeepers between the ages of U7-U16 at one or more of our five venues operating on weeknights around Cambridgeshire, following a 30-week training syllabus set by the Programme Lead.

To work closely with the Programme Lead to identify top-performing players suitable for progression into the club's Elite Centre programme and beyond.

To complete two reports per season, giving RGC players feedback for their development.
To assist with fixtures and training camps in the school holidays.

Reporting Lines

Within this role, you will be managed by the Programme Lead (Lead GK Development Coach Louis Hrebeniak)

Qualifications

Will be reviewed upon application along with relevant previous experience.

Pay & Hours of Work

Pay is competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.

The person appointed to this post will have contact with children. Therefore, the post holder will require an enhanced FA Disclosure Barring Service check.
