Cambridge United Community Trust are continuing their mental health work in secondary schools this week, delivering Mind Your Head in Northstowe Secondary College for the first time.

Alongside this, our new Teammates project kicks off at North Cambridge Academy which is taking place in partnership with local charity, Cambridge Acorn Project. ‘Mind Your Head’ has improved mental health literacy of thousands of young people across a number of schools in the area and has been recognised on a national level by an all-party parliamentary group for a fit and healthy childhood.

The ‘Teammates’ project is for small groups, designed to empower young people to improve their mental health through engaging in sport and discussions with positive role models external to school staff.
