Cambridge United can confirm the Club will play Newport County at Rodney Parade in the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday 3rd December, kicking off at 2:00pm.
Having beaten Sutton United last month on home soil to progress into the second round for a fifth straight year, the U’s were picked out of the draw against fellow League Two rivals Newport County, following 11 consecutive home draws in the competition.
The sides have not met in the Emirates FA Cup since United defeated the Welsh outfit 2-1 through a replay 64 years ago.
