Standing at 6ft 3in, Lloyd spent his youth career with Plymouth Argyle and Liverpool – even being involved in the six-time European Cup winners’ senior squad in May 2013.
Various loan spells followed, before the defender found permanent homes at Luton Town and, most recently, Northampton Town, where he was handed the captain’s armband in the latter stages of the 2020/21 season.
