Shaun Marshall will return between the posts at Wrexham tonight, although the rest of the side is likely to be unchanged.

The 21-year-old was involved in a car accident on the way to the ground before Saturday's FA Cup match and although unhurt he admitted he was too shaken to play. Arjan Van Heusden stepped in to kept a clean sheet against Bamber Bridge, but in today's Cambridge Evening News Roy McFarland said Marshall would return.

"Shaun was playing well enough before Saturday to warrant coming straight back in," he said. "He's trained very well this week, and has shaken off any effects of the accident. It was very responsible of him to stand down against Bamber Bridge, because he knew his mind wouldn't have been fully on the game."

We have two important away games this week and McFarland will be looking for a return to the form that saw off Luton ten days ago. "We have to tap back into that," he said. "We'd been playing well for a while in the League and we must keep it going. We have two matches this week against teams near us in the table, and although I don't think you can talk about 'six-pointers' this early in the season, they are games we need to get something from."

Youth team striker Daniel Chillingworth was on the bench for the FA Cup tie but he has injured an ankle in training and drops out of the squad.

16th-placed Wrexham beat Rochdale 2-1 on Saturday to earn a third round home tie with Middlesbrough and only Phil Hardy is a doubt, after limping off with a hamstring problem. Home fans can get vouchers tonight for tickets for the Middlesbrough game, so a larger than normal crowd is expected.

The Robins have drawn three and lost three of their last six games so United's recent form is better, but we are of course still looking for our first away win of the season. When we last met in 1994/95, in the Endsleigh League Division Two, Wrexham won 2-1 at the Abbey before the U's won at The Racecourse Ground in the final game of the season, the goal coming from Carlo Corazzin in a good performance despite the fact we were already relegated.
