Cambridge United were involved in two cup draws this weekend and have received home ties for both games next month.

In Saturday morning's first round draw draw for the Auto Windscreens Shield the U's were drawn against Barnet who are currently second in Division Three, and that game will be played on Tuesday the 7th December (7.45pm).

In today's FA Cup third round draw the 'big boys' of the Premiership and Division One entered the fray and United were drawn at home to Division One strugglers Crystal Palace, the team who dumped United out of the FA Cup in a sixth round tie in 1990 before going on to the final and eventual defeat to Manchester United in a replay. The ties must be played on the weekend of the 11th/12th December so the home game against Bury will be rearranged.
