Tuesday 9th November 1999 : Cup draw updates

Two new announcements affect forthcoming cup draws in which Cambridge United are involved, or hoped to be involved.

The draw for the Auto Windscreens Shield will not take place this Saturday as originally planned, as the organisers are afraid that the details would be lost in the hype surrounding the Scotland v England match. The draw will now take place the following Saturday (20th) and will still be shown live on Sky TV's Soccer AM programme.
