Mercer was on the bench for Saturday's FA Cup victory over Gateshead and is expected to be involved again tonight as Arjan Van Heusden struggles with a thumb injury. He has been issued number 31. 21-year-old Shaun Marshall was in goal on Saturday and although not really tested he presided over United's first clean sheet of the season.

Chillingworth, from Somersham, has been with the club since the age of 13 and has scored for the youth team and reserves so far this season. He was called into the senior squad for the recent League game at Gillingham, at which time Roy McFarland commented, "I think it is time for Daniel Chillingworth to get a taste.

"He's playing well for the reserves, as well as the youth team, and he scored two of the best goals you could see in the FA Youth Cup this week. He strikes the ball perfectly."

Chillingworth has been allocated number 32.
