Thursday 11th May 2000 : United players in final appearance

Cambridge United bring down the curtain on this season with tomorrow's annual Supporters Club Player of the Year Presentation Evening, from 8pm till late in the marquee in the car park.

All the players will be in attendance on their return from their short break in Spain, and this will be their last appearance as a squad for this campaign.

Club PR Manager Graham Eales commented, "Two major achievements this season have been retaining our Division Two status and securing the initial approval for the redevelopment of the Abbey Stadium. The Supporters Club have played a significant part in both of these and it is fitting that the final commitment of Roy and the players is on Friday when all the squad will be present."

All supporters are most welcome and tickets at £10 can be obtained in advance from the Supporters Club or the Club reception. Top quality entertainment will be provided by 'Drive' and 'Infantasia' in the Clubroom and the Paul Adams Roadshow.
