Tuesday 9th May 2000 : Youth team through to EJP final

The youth team progressed to the final of the Eastern Junior Plate after last night's 5-0 win at Wisbech Town. The goals (in the order that coach Dale Brooks could remember them!) were: o.g., Daniel Chillingworth, Jonathan Heathcote, Duncan Lockhart and a Leighton Hill penalty.

Assistant secretary Mark Johnson, who supplied the news, added, "There are, as yet, no details of date or opposition for the final."
