Roy McFarland will have the best type of selection headache for Saturday's match against Wrexham, as three first team players are back in training.
Player coach David Preece, standing in for the unavailable Roy McFarland at this afternoon's media call, confirmed the good news to Will Jones as part of today's 'On The Spot' interview. The full text will be available on the site late tonight. However he also confirmed that the unlucky Michael Kyd had another knee operation this week and is ruled out for at least four weeks. Physio Ken Steggles revealed last week in his update for U's Net that Kyddie damaged his knee in training last week and once the swelling had reduced a decision would be made about an operation. This latest set-back leaves a serious question mark over the young striker's future as his contract expires this summer. |
