John Taylor's reserve team recorded their fourth successive win at Portsmouth last night and extended their unbeaten run to seven matches. The match ended in a 2-0 win to United with goals scored by Nathan Lamey from the penalty spot and Andy Ingham. Lamey also scored for Hitchin Town on Saturday in their 2-1 defeat by Aldershot, as he is spending some time with Zema Abbey's former club on a non-contract basis. The reserves' last defeat was back on the 8th December at the hands of QPR, and their remaining fixtures are Barnet (a) next Wednesday, Bristol City (h) on the 29th March, and they finish with an evening game at the Abbey on the 5th April when Norwich City are the visitors.
