| Tuesday 14th March 2000 : Injury doubt over key man |
|
Club captain Paul Wanless is a doubt ahead of Wrexham's visit on Saturday. The influential midfielder has been in the form of his life in recent weeks but he took a kick on the thigh in last Tuesday's game against Bristol City. The muscle stiffened up during Saturday's 3-0 drubbing of Scunthorpe and led to him being substituted a couple of minutes before the end. With another match next Tuesday night at Luton Town Roy McFarland will be reluctant to risk his skipper if he is not completely fit, although Wanless would run through a brick wall for the club's cause and frequently leaves the pitch looking as though he has! If you're planning on going to Luton don't forget it is all-ticket for visiting fans and you should buy your tickets in advance from the Abbey Stadium ticket office. They are priced at £13 for adults and £7 for under-16s and over-65s, and may be purchased over the telephone (01223 566500) using a credit or debit card subject to a £1 administration fee. |
