  Tuesday 14th March 2000 : Two games ALL-TICKET as club announces ticket package

Cambridge United have released details of a special match ticket package for the final three home games of the season. The press release reads as follows:

"As Cambridge United approach the critical run-in towards the end of the season they have announced a special three ticket package for the final three home games of the season, offering savings to supporters who buy tickets for all three games.

There is no doubt that 3 is currently the U's lucky number and last week bears testimony to this with three exciting developments;

) Roy McFarlands team collected maximum points from their two games with impressive 3-0 victories over Bristol City at home and Scunthorpe United away

2) The Youth team who were awarded the Cambridge Evening News Team of the month, have now won 3 out of 3 games in the Premier Division of the Football League Youth Alliance

3) Cambridge City Council unanimously approved the planning application for the Re-development of the Abbey Stadium

This special three ticket package applies to the final three home games against Bristol Rovers, Preston and Wycombe Wanderers and please note the games v Bristol Rovers and Preston NE are all-ticket games.

With the last three home games likely to be crucial to the U's survival in Division Two the Club is anxious to boost the number of home supporters as well as rewarding loyal home fans for their support, which, according to Roy McFarland has been tremendous throughout the season but especially in recent games:

"Even though some of our performances, and sometimes the results haven't been what we've all wanted their support hasn't wavered and I know I can count on them to really get behind us in a big way as we approach the critical climax of our season."

All the visiting teams in these games are expected to take up their full allocation of tickets so as well as rewarding fans with a package which represents a saving of £5 for Main Stand, Family Enclosure and Terrace tickets, a great atmosphere is assured.

Tickets within this Special Offer Package will be on sale from CUFC Reception from 18th March until 7.00pm on Wednesday, April 5th, when United Reserves kick off against Norwich City Reserves at the Abbey Stadium. Fans are urged to obtain their tickets as soon as possible as they are expected to be in great demand.

The Special 3 ticket package prices are as follows:
