Thursday 22nd June 2000 : New fixture list available today

The fixture list for next season was published this morning.

The U's kick off the 2000-2001 season at home to Bury on Saturday 12th August and conclude the campaign away at Swansea City on Saturday 5th May next year. Dates for your diary include the two local derby fixtures against promoted Peterborough United, at the Abbey on Saturday 16th December and away on Saturday 31st March.

We can also look forward to three derbies in ten days during October, with Luton Town visiting the Abbey on the 14th, our visit to Colchester on the 21st, and Northampton Town visiting on the 24th.
