Sunday 11th June 2000 : Season ticket sales rise as deadline looms

Season ticket sales were closing on 800 by the end of Friday afternoon with just a week left to take advantage of the "early purchase" prices, and for existing Main Stand season ticket holders to renew their existing seats. The deadline for both is strictly 5pm on Friday 16th June.

The club hope to sell 2,000 season tickets this millennium year and, with the club celebrating 50 years as Cambridge United next year, as an extra incentive every fiftieth purchaser of a season ticket will be a special "50 Years" guest of the club at some stage in this commemorative season.

The ticket office is open Monday to Friday next week from 9am to 5pm and tickets can be purchased or renewed there, or by post (please enclose a A5 SAE) or by telephone on (01223) 566500. Please note there is a £2.00 administration charge for all debit or credit card payments except for the Cambridge United Royal Bank of Scotland Mastercard.
