Goalkeeper Jimmy Glass has joined the U's squad for training after his agent had talks with Roy McFarland last week.

The 26-year-old negotiated his release from the remaining two years of his contract with Swindon Town after reportedly falling out with manager Jimmy Quinn, and is seeking a new club. Glass shot to fame when he was on loan at Carlisle at the end of last season and scored the last minute goal that kept the Cumbrians in the Football League.
