| Wednesday 19th January 2000 : CUFC appeal to hundreds of Season Ticket holders |
|
Season Ticket holders planning to claim their FA Cup Ticket on Saturday are warned that they face long queues. Tickets for the fifth round tie against Bolton Wanderers have been on sale for over a week and whilst the seats not allocated to Season Ticket holders have virtually sold out, a large number of Season Ticket holders' tickets remain unclaimed. The Club suspect that most of these will be claimed before Saturday's vital Division Two clash with Chesterfield - a situation which is bound to generate long queues at the Ticket Office. Season Ticket holders are reminded that they have until 4.30pm on Monday 24th January to claim their ticket, after which time all unclaimed tickets will be placed on general sale. Assistant Secretary Mark Johnson revealed that over 1000 tickets are unclaimed and added, "The tickets can be bought over the telephone using a credit or debit card and using this option before the weekend would, no doubt, ease the queues prior to the game on Saturday." The Ticket Office will be open from 9am on Saturday morning and will also be open immediately after the match. This afternoon's reserve match at Barnet was postponed. |
