The weekly "On The Spot" interview and Q&A with Roy McFarland started again yesterday and U's Net reporter Will Jones did an excellent job of bringing matters up to date after a three week break.

McFarland discussed the recent results and the FA Cup run, as well as team selections, substitutions and tactics used in recent games, then moved on to answering a series of searching questions submitted by supporters. In his answers he revealed that he is currently in talks to bring in an experienced defender, although he admitted he has previously agreed deals with two clubs only for the players to reject the move.

In response to a supporter's question about recent dissent on the terraces, McFarland ended by saying, "The one thing I will guarantee our supporters, if they are supporting me or not supporting me, is that I will work every single hour God sends to put things right at this football club."
