West Bromwich Albion have cast their net far and wide in an effort to find new players.

The Baggies, who have been strongly linked with Trevor Benjamin in recent months, have apparently written to every club in Divisions Two and Three plus the Conference saying that the club are seeking young players with pace who can improve with experience. Albion secretary John Evans has circulated the letter and asks the clubs if they have any young players on their books whom they believe can make the grade at Division One level, before adding that WBA have one or two experienced players that may be available for loan or transfer in the opposite direction.
