General Manager Colin Davies has revealed that Cambridge United and the Whitehill Allotment Society are in "positive and constructive" talks about the club's need to extend the stadium onto land occupied by nineteen allotments behind the existing South Terrace.

Few of the nineteen plots are currently cultivated but the land is the major sticking point which has delayed a decision about the redevelopment plans, so these talks, which Davies referred to as "on-going", are extremely important for the future of the redevelopment plans.
