Wednesday 8th December 1999 : Important reminder about match tickets

Main Stand season ticket holders who plan to attend Friday's FA Cup third round tie are reminded that they should buy their tickets before noon on the day of the match to guarantee their usual seats. "After that they go on general sale," advised assistant club secretary Mark Johnson this morning.

Season ticket holders for the terraced areas should bring their season ticket book with them on the night to guarantee their admission, paying at the turnstile using Voucher D. Admission to the Newmarket Road terrace will only be guaranteed for Season Ticket holders using Turnstile 6. For the Habbin Stand, Season Ticket holders must use Turnstile 19.

In his programme notes on Saturday, secretary Andy Pincher explained, "This is the only way we can guarantee admission for Season Ticket holders without making the game all-ticket and we would appreciate your co-operation with regard to this matter.

"We would also appreciate, where possible, your early arrival in all areas of the ground to avoid congestion at the turnstiles as we approach kick-off time."

The match is all-ticket for Crystal Palace supporters.

United's next home game after Friday's match against Crystal Palace is the Auto Windscreens Shield game at home to Barnet next Tuesday evening (7.45pm). Prices for this match have been reduced and it will be 'Quid-a-Kid' anywhere in the ground.

Main Stand prices are £9 for adults and £4 for concessions, Family Enclosure prices are £6 and £3, and £5 and £3 on the terraces.
