Friday 21st April 2000 : Preston tickets - update and reminder

United's assistant secretary Mark Johnson advised today that tickets for Monday's visit of Division Two champions-elect Preston North End are selling well.

Mark JohnsonSales up to yesterday afternoon indicate an attendance of approximately 6,500 and although there are plenty of terrace tickets still available for the all-ticket game, some areas of the Main Stand are almost sold out.

"There are no seats together in the Family Stand," he said "and in the Main Stand there is one seat available in block D, two in C, three in E. There are still quite a few in blocks E and F so if people wants seats together in those areas we can probably sort something out for them.

"Just please remind non-Season Ticket Holders that they only have until noon on Saturday to buy their ticket for this game as there will be none for sale on the day."
